I remember standing at many Motorhead gigs just listening to their sound as a band which was completely unique.
You could pick out all of the individual instruments, and Lemmy's voice, but surrounding it all was this kind of roaring noise. It was almost as if the sheer volume was another instrument in itself.
I did wonder if it was actually my ears distorting?

I Saw Motorhead at the Hammersmith Odeon on the 'Bomber' tour, they were right up there with Stevie Ray Vaughan and AC/DC for volume at that venue !
My ears are still ringing !!!

In the 70s there simply was no escaping the questing digits of a 70s male TV personality. Even if you were a small rodent fashioned from a paper cone.

You never had to listen to him on Radio 2 on the school bus home.
Day in, day out.

Ah, you ephebic wee creature.
I bet you don't remember Yoffy from Fingerbobs, either. He was daring enough to team a crewneck jersey with a paisley cravat and he looked like Junior Oddbod's anorexic twin.
So much about the 70s was warped beyond belief.

I remember wogan as a small boy and he was unutterably dull and way too affable for his own good. Cunt.
